Hat attack!

I have a good friend with a stunning collection of hats. Not only does she have a fab collection, but she wears a different one each day, and they are displayed proudly by the front door of her ultra-stylish loft home.

Me? I own a hat for really cold winter walks, one for skiing, and one (free) baseball cap for running in the rain. Hmm, sounds like I could work on my hat collection a little.

If you're in the same boat, here are some great options:

Red cloche hat with white felted flower (TeaPartyHats, Etsy, $42)

Jewel Button Velvet Baker Boy (Monsoon, UK, £19.00)
Solid wool red beret (Target, $12.99)

Gray Woolen Cloche Hat (Buygail, Etsy, $55)

Olney Olivia Hat (John Lewis, UK, £39)

How many hats do you own?

I'm like you--one for cold, cold weather, and a baseball-ish one for bad hairdays. I also have a cute big straw one for the summer, but since I don't wear my hair straight too often anymore, I don't get much wear out of it. Hats are a great quick fix.

Zero hats here. Although I should find one I can wear while walking. When my hair's a mess anyway.
If I did wear hats, I'd choose that last one with the colorful buttons... very cute.

I love hats, but my collection is mostly ball caps. The nicer shaped ones are so hard to store.

None. I lose them.

No hats for me :-( although I love the IDEA. I just don't think they look exactly fabulous on me. If I were to get one though, I think the Gray Woolen Cloche Hat would be kind of fun.

My downfall, too. I'm so indecisive, and I hate that. My motto is buy and and take it back later--there's nothing worse than when you decide to take the plunge and what you want isn't there anymore!

Oh man do I love me some hats! I started my love of hats when I lived in NYC, and I probably have about 40 by now; all kinds and colors for each season, and of course plenty of ball caps. In NYC, I displayed them on an entire wall in the hallway next to all my bags. No closets, you see!

Four! And I really need to wear them more often.

I'm drooling over those choche hats.

Thanks so much for your kind comments, Struggler, particularly about Shadow. I do love my dog!

My boyfriend doesn't really like tea either, though we bonded on our first date because we met up "for coffee" and then discovered that neither of us actually drinks coffee. :)

I occasionally buy hats to keep the sun off my face, and always end up with some baseball cap I hate. People would look at me funny if I wore a real hat, but I do LOVE hats and wish they'd come back in fashion. That cloche hat is gorgeous.

I used to be "The Hat Girl" at work for my love of quirky hats. I don't wear many anymore, but I have a few choice hats I've hung on to. My favorite is a little straw Mary Poppins number.

Oh I love hats... especially straw old battered hats and I wish I was brave enough to wear them daily in UK in the Summer!!
When in Oz a Summer a hat is a necessity in the fierce heat but I still feel a bit odd walking down the High Street in my panama hat (see profile pic!) However, am happy enough to wear it all day when at the beach without feeling 'daft'! xx
